Jack Shea

Jack is the former Head of the Meridian School, a private K-5 school in Seattle, Washington and the former Executive Director of Teton Science Schools in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. He spent 25 years developing the Teton Science Schools’ seven distinct educational program areas. These include two independent schools – Journeys School and Teton Valley Community School, a graduate studies program, a teacher learning center, a residential field education program, a conservation research center and a wildlife ecotourism business. He was also the consulting Head to the Teton Valley Community School in Victor, Idaho. Jack is an accomplished educator and business leader with enormous experience developing strategic plans, working with Boards to actualize plans, funding and marketing a program’s value. Jack holds a BS in Wildlife Biology and Forest Ecology from the University of Vermont and an MS in Wildlife Ecology from University of Alaska.
