Landowner Outreach Series

The East Yellowstone Collaborative (EYC) organizes landowner and community outreach events aimed at in-depth discussions on various topics of interest while fostering social connections among landowners, NGOs, and community members. The first gathering, held in October 2022, focused on cheatgrass treatment, featuring experts from multiple western states. In 2023, EYC continued with events such as a Happy Hour Ranchlands Resource Forum, Wild and Working Lands Film Festival, Weeds, Wildlands, and More Agricultural Exposition, and a hosted conversation about a potential Brucellosis Compensation Fund for Absarokas livestock producers. These gatherings aim to provide valuable information and resources while promoting social interaction among participants, with more topics in the pipeline, including addressing conflicts between private lands ranching and wildlife.
