Baja California Sur
We work where we are welcome
The community invites. We listen, create trust, and walk together to regenerate the sea and water, soil, and social ties.
This is where our team was born, and where we planted the first seeds of what is now a territorial regeneration network. From the Sierra La Laguna to the Gulf of California, we collaborate with communities that have invited us in based on communication and trust.
Faced with challenges such as water scarcity, uncontrolled real estate development, and the erosion of local identity, we support processes that reconnect people and the landscape with purpose.
Our programs promote healthy watersheds, regenerative ranching and fisheries, ecosystem conservation, and the strengthening of local leadership.
The East Cape Futures Initiative, the iFCE Forum, and groups like Voces Comunitarias are examples of how we weave collective solutions to guide development toward regenerative practices, with long-term vision and deep local roots.
Active programs in Baja California Sur:
-
We promote marine and terrestrial conservation through community and scientific partnerships, and we support practices like regenerative ranching to restore ecosystem health. We work with fishers, producers, and land stewards—from the mangroves to the mountains—to foster collective care for biodiversity.
-
We strengthen the voice and organization of those who inhabit the land by supporting efforts like Voces Comunitarias, where local leaders co-create solutions that protect identity, culture, and the local economy. Our approach is to regenerate from within—through trust, not imposition.
-
From the Serrana Water Harvest to integrated watershed management strategies, we work to restore the water cycle in partnership with communities, ranchers, and specialists. We believe everything begins with water: its care is key to the resilience of the land.
-
Through the East Cape Future Initiative, the iFCE Forum, the Sierra a Mar Dinner, and the Regional Innovators Network, we are co-creating a new vision for tourism and economic development—one grounded in community roots, environmental respect, and conscious investment models that regenerate rather than deplete.
East Cape Future Initiative
(iFCE)
A platform that promotes regenerative development in the East Cape region of Baja California Sur, honoring people and their land.
The iFCE acts as a regional transformation catalyst. It fosters community unity, directs investment toward regenerative practices, and protects the region’s natural and cultural heritage.
“My grandmother left the ranch to give us a future. Today, I work to give something back to this land.”
