Catch Together Collective
Since early 2022, LegacyWorks Group has been playing a central role in the evolution of Catch Together, a nonprofit program helping small-scale fishermen and heritage fishing communities ensure they retain access and continue to steward and conserve their local fisheries. With funding from Walton Family Foundation, Builders Initiative and the Campbell Foundation, LegacyWorks Group has supported Catch Together through the development of a new impact strategy, redesign of their business model, creation of a new investment strategy, and facilitation of a nation-wide partnership of fishing organizations. As we enter our third year of work together, our role has shifted from strategy consulting, planning, and partnership development, to resourcing and implementation.
Catch Together Collective Communities
Catch Together and its regional partners currently work with fishing communities in various locations across the country as shown here. The collective plans to expand its coverage over time by engaging other community partners and strategic partners to serve fisheries, communities and fishermen across the continent.
