Structure and manage finance platforms, funds and deals.
Design and implement impact investment opportunities for donors, investors, organizations and collaboratives.
LegacyWorks Group provides an array of impact finance support services to funders, impact investors, community groups, collaboratives, public private partnerships, agencies, and impact funds. Our engagements and the roles we play are custom fit to the needs of our clients. We vet projects for fit and alignment with our mission, capacity and unique offerings, which leads us to innovative and highly collaborative projects that require players to partner across sectors and disciplines. When we commit to a project we invest in its success as if it were our own, while staying behind the scenes and ensuring our clients and partners get the credit.
Our Impact Finance services include supporting the development and implementation of single projects to achieve a client’s goals to the development of funds or shared infrastructure to catalyze system-wide impact. Past and current engagements include supporting land investments for land trusts, private individuals and tribes, facilitating loans for nonprofit land protection projects and regenerative agriculture initiatives, financing restoration projects and nature based climate solutions, facilitating and securing financing for renewable energy investments, and shaping and stewarding major philanthropic gifts.
Each of the key members of our team has more than 20 years of experience (in some cases way more!) implementing hundreds of millions of dollars of impact projects or billions of dollars of financing across asset classes. We have conceived, launched and run innovative impact investment funds, made more than $300m of revolving loans, and underwritten and served as counsel on billions of dollars of financing. We also support the development of impact investment funds, revolving loan funds, innovative impact finance strategies and fundraising initiatives.
