Ventura Land Trust Mariana Ranch

In late 2019, the Ventura Land Trust had an opportunity to purchase Mariana Ranch, an iconic hillside property overlooking the city of Ventura. The Land Trust engaged LegacyWorks to put together the financing package needed to secure a contract on the property and to provide assurance to the Land Trust and its leadership that the necessary funding would be available to complete the purchase. This was one of the first conservation financing projects LegacyWorks Group engaged in regionally, laying the groundwork for launching our regional Conservation Loan Fund in late 2020.
