White Buffalo Land Trust Jalama Canyon Ranch

LegacyWorks supported White Buffalo Land Trust’s efforts to acquire the Jalama Canyon Ranch and expand their work catalyzing the transition to regenerative agriculture regionally. Together we worked to understand and articulate the vision, purpose, principles and goals of the Jalama Ranch Project and explore the use of the full spectrum of blended capital from grants to program related investments to debt and impact investment capital. We advised on the execution of a capital campaign strategy and the fundraising processes needed to support it, and the optimal partnership model to engage key partners including the Land Trust for Santa Barbara County and The Nature Conservancy.
