Most critical community and conservation needs today are out of the reach of single organizations or agencies and require collaboration across organizations, disciplines and sectors. Yet most institutions are designed to act unilaterally and are not well prepared to collaborate at the pace and scale today’s intersecting crises require. LegacyWorks Group shows up in service of collaborative initiatives and public private partnerships to ensure their success by playing a variety of roles from inception to completion of an initiative’s life cycle.
Collaborative initiatives are much like start up enterprises, though often more complex due to the number of partners that need to be at the table. Unlike the start up world, the collaborative sector lacks incubators, accelerators, venture investors and experienced management teams. LegacyWorks brings the skills, capacity and experience needed to convene partnerships, develop strategies and business plans, find the resources needed, and recruit the players needed to facilitate the process and achieve the partnership’s goals. We show up in service of the collaborative effort so all the partners can play their unique roles knowing that we are there in support and to ensure their efforts won’t be wasted.
