Alexa Kichuk

Communications Specialist

Alexa began her journey with LegacyWorks as the Communications Specialist. With a B.S. in Communication from Boston University, she developed a foundation in creative messaging shaped by her early interest in marketing and advertising. During her studies, Alexa realized she wanted to apply her communication skills in service of her passion for protecting the environment, building community, and fostering environmental stewardship rather than promoting consumer products.

At LegacyWorks, Alexa supports cross-team communication initiatives, helping share stories that highlight community impact and shared progress. Throughout her experience in the nonprofit sector, she has prioritized building meaningful connections and supporting initiatives that strengthen community engagement.

Outside of work, Alexa enjoys spending time outdoors and occasionally signing up for spontaneous half marathons. She appreciates visual design and creative expression, exploring art and branding as extensions of her storytelling. She values experiences that challenge her and keep her grounded in the communities she serves.
