Angela Manavella
Angela works as part of LegacyWorks Group’s People & Culture team, with a large focus in supporting the design and expansion of the Support Organization for the Sentinel Landscapes Partnership. Her work and passion includes building leadership frameworks and growth opportunities for staff and partners, exploring creative avenues to embrace shared values and communities of practice. Angela also largely helps with the hiring, onboarding, and evaluation of the sentinel landscapes team and continuous evolution of such organizational processes.
Previous to LegacyWorks, Angela worked as the programs manager for Leading From Within, an organization that provides high quality leadership development programs and offerings to empower the changemakers of our communities. In her role, she worked to enhance the experience and impact created from the program curriculum and growing network of leaders working across Santa Barbara County and its diverse community issues. She is also an alumna of Leading From Within’s Emerging Leaders program.
Angela has been actively engaged in the nonprofit sector since graduating college in 2014. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Planning, Public Policy and Management with a minor in Nonprofit Administration at the University of Oregon in Eugene – where much of her passion for sustainable practices and environmental conservation evolved. Angela is also a mother and wife, enjoying the outdoors as frequently as possible with her family near and around their small town in southern Oregon.
