Scott Pierson has had a long career in land use and conservation in the greater Teton Region. He was the president and co-founder, with his wife Lisa Pierson, of Pierson Land Surveys (Works). Scott has served as a Jackson Hole Land Trust board member from 1997-2005 and 2010-2019 including a terms as president.  He  is now an Emeritus Board Member of the Land Trust and continues as president of the Rendezvous Land Conservancy a supporting organization. Scott is a leading and respected figure, locally, regionally and state-wide on land and community issues serving on many stakeholder committees. He has a thorough understanding of the issues facing the valley and the region, mediating land disputes, and testifying on land related litigation. Scott moved to Jackson Hole in 1976 where he continued a surveying career, subsequently establishing Pierson Land Surveys, which added landscape architecture and planning departments in the 80s and 90’s.
