Santa Barbara County Community Dashboard

About the Dashboard

The Santa Barbara County Community Wellbeing Dashboard is a community-led, online platform designed to provide a comprehensive view of key indicators shaping wellbeing across Santa Barbara County. This dashboard tracks essential metrics across eight interconnected domains offering a holistic picture of community health and progress. It equips residents, policymakers, nonprofit organizations, and funders with timely actionable data to better understand emerging challenges, measure progress, and make informed decisions.

Community dashboards like this one combine data visualizations, reports, and stories of lived experience to illuminate trends, identify areas of need, and inform actions that strengthen overall outcomes.

With seed funding from the Santa Barbara Foundation, and additional support from the Natalie Orfalea Foundation and the Schiele Family Foundation, the dashboard represents a shared commitment to advancing a healthier, more resilient Santa Barbara County.
