Teton Creek Corridor Project
A collaborative effort of local Teton Valley nonprofits with private citizens
Our flagship project is transforming a degraded stream corridor into a vibrant community asset. Once slated for development into hundreds of subdivision lots, with a streambed so degraded it put the City of Driggs at risk of flooding, the corridor is now returning to its thriving natural state.
To date, the project has:
Protected 400+ acres of critical habitat for wintering game
Restored 1 mile of stream bank
Secured 4 miles of interconnected pathway easements
Began constructing the pathway
Completed restoration and enhanced the flow of Teton Creek
