Abraham Vera
Abraham is an anthropologist specializing in the design and implementation of community development projects and local capacity building. Throughout his career, he has supported participatory processes in diverse communities, facilitating spaces for dialogue, organization, and the collective construction of sustainable solutions.
His experience integrates applied social research, coordination of multidisciplinary teams, and strategic project management with a territorial focus. He has collaborated with international organizations such as the International Committee of the Red Cross, where he conducted community assessments, training programs, local leadership initiatives, and processes to foster collaboration between communities, civil society, and institutional actors, always prioritizing active participation and community empowerment.
He holds a degree in Anthropology and a Master's degree in Communication and Politics, and has completed doctoral studies in Anthropological Sciences. He has undertaken research and collaboration stays in Spain and Latin America, integrating intercultural perspectives and comparative approaches into his professional practice.
Personally, he enjoys reading and writing as spaces for reflection and creativity, as well as taking walks in both urban environments and natural spaces, where he finds inspiration and balance.
