Megan Miley

Communications Designer

Megan has over 25 years experience in communications and managing her own design business. Before working with LegacyWorks, she led the communications team at Beartooth Capital Partners, a conservation-oriented investment firm, where she guided the firm through their first B-Corp certification and participated on the Global Impact Investing Network’s (GIIN) working group to develop a set of land conservation metrics. Megan also worked as a community outreach specialist for the Santa Barbara County Air Pollution Control District (APCD) and a planner for the Energy Division of the Santa Barbara County Planning and Development Department. She was instrumental in several award-winning programs for clean fuels, energy, and car free tourism.

Megan received her BA in Environmental Studies and Economics from the UC Santa Barbara and is a graduate of Leadership Santa Barbara County. She continues learning and practicing art and visual communication at UC Santa Barbara and Santa Barbara City College.
