Monica grew up in San Francisco, CA, spent most of her adult life in North Carolina, and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Ecuador. She holds both a Master of Regional Planning and a Bachelor of Science in Public Health from UNC-Chapel Hill. Monica currently lives in Greensboro, NC, and loves hiking with her husband and family, playing video games with her teenage son, and browsing bookstores with her teenage daughter.
