Naomi Gebo
Naomi Gebo joined LegacyWorks in the fall of 2025 as the Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM) Sentinel Landscape Resilience Specialist. She brings over a decade of experience in natural resources management and conservation in western Washington, building on a career in environmental science that spans six states.
Naomi holds a BS in Natural Resources from Cornell University and a Masters of Ecology from Pennsylvania State University. Prior to joining LegacyWorks, she served as a Habitat Stewardship Specialist with the WA Department of Natural Resources, and an Environmental Planner with Pierce County, the WA Department of Fish & Wildlife, and the WA Department of Ecology.
A native of New York state, Naomi spent her childhood exploring the forests, wetlands, and creeks near her home. She currently resides in rural Kitsap County, Washington with her husband, where she enjoys gardening, hiking, kayaking, and reading.
