In 2016, the most popular public access point for the Teton River came up for sale. We mobilized a collaborative of conservation partners to protect it for public use forever.

  • Acquired the 80-acre parcel and transfer to Teton County

  • Protected most acreage under a conservation easement

  • Teamed up with Teton County and Fish & Game to rebuild the river access and degraded wetlands and eliminate safety hazards

  • Installed a trailhead kiosk, restroom with mural, life jacket borrowing station, and a half-mile loop river trail
