Network of Care and FindHelp

The LegacyWorks team worked alongside Cottage Health to help provide support for community organizations to implement FindHelp. FindHelp is the platform chosen by the Network of Care to implement a standardized referral system and resource directory throughout the county social sector. While the use of the platform for local organizations is entirely free, Cottage paid for the development of ConnectSBC, a FindHelp website platform customized with additional services and tools for local organizations in the Santa Barbara community. The goal is to create a more holistic network of care, where medical providers, buffering services, and educators are all connected on a single interface and provide more complete care to youth, adults, and families. This project has its roots in our work with ACEs and with Resilient Santa Barbara County, where we support a network of partners providing education and training to the social sector and medical providers in order to expand Trauma Informed Care, ACEs screenings, and connecting youth with high ACEs scores and trauma to buffering services.
