LegacyWorks Group Associate, Fellow, and Intern Roles

LegacyWorks Introduction

We are a nonprofit organization that enables communities to address complex challenges and meet critical needs through highly collaborative initiatives. Each initiative uncovers new impact opportunities and builds capacity and takes on bigger things. Over time our evolving projects create pathways to larger scale outcomes and new collaborative opportunities. We illustrate this process as a widening spiral, with each initiative serving as a stepping stone on the path to systemic change.

LegacyWorks Group is a community consultancy that brings transformative impact initiatives to life. We steward a network of place-based, community-driven initiatives, with primary programs in the Greater Yellowstone, Central Coast California and Baja California Sur. We launch, facilitate, and incubate initiatives and enterprises with deep potential to advance the wellbeing and resilience of our communities and landscapes. Ultimately we are the work home for a community of catalytic change makers, 30+ strong and growing.

Being Part of the LegacyWorks Group Team

Our team is open-hearted, entrepreneurial, collaborative and constantly learning. We have a variety of leadership, facilitation and project management experience as well as a diversity of cultural and educational backgrounds. We value different perspectives and foster a culture that appreciates the voices of all team members. We seek curious candidates with sharp minds who learn fast. We are comfortable with complex challenges that require curiosity, collaboration, innovation, diplomacy, relationship building, leadership and high levels of partner and community engagement. We approach new ideas and challenges with optimism and show up open, curious and committed to learning. The way we work requires a commitment to exploring the edges of what is possible and thus requires continuous personal and professional growth.

We seek out high impact opportunities that often will not move forward unless we play one or more catalytic roles including facilitation, project management, process design, strategy development, planning, collective resourcing, leadership development, community engagement, data dashboard development and more (and more!). We continuously strive to improve the ways we work together and the tools we use to enable community driven action.

Team members must be comfortable working across and moving between domains while cultivating networks, trust-based relationships and partnerships. We are a team of entrepreneurial leaders excited to grow our programs and our regional team, build on our track record of success, and extend our impact in new ways.
