About LegacyWorks Group
LegacyWorks Group (LWG) is a network of changemakers and impact entrepreneurs stewarding place-based initiatives, social enterprises, projects, and partnerships that address an array of critical community needs, challenges, and opportunities. This diverse set of leaders and initiatives share a common foundation-building community resilience through cross-sector collaborations and public-private partnerships. Our role is to hold space for and enable this mode of leadership.
We believe each community has the wisdom it needs to confront its challenges and opportunities, but doing so is hard, and organizations often stumble when it comes to initiating and successfully implementing the complex collaborations required. Communities need a partner to occupy the in-between space to weave connections, catalyze partnerships, facilitate collective action, and follow through on project management and implementation. That’s what we are built to do. Our success depends on facilitating initiatives that are truly community-driven and collectively-owned, rather than organizationally-controlled and constrained. While we lead, facilitate, and steward many initiatives, we don’t own or organizationally control them.
LWG is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer and is committed to cultivating a diverse and inclusive work culture. LegacyWorks is committed to building a diverse team, including board and staff, and continuing to improve compensation and benefits to ensure our team’s wellness and livelihoods. We welcome candidates of all backgrounds and value life experience and achievements. All employees and applicants for employment are not to be discriminated on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, gender identity, and sexual orientation), parental status, national origin, age, disability, genetic information (including family medical history), political affiliation, history of military service, or other non-merit-based factors.
