Request for Proposals (RFP) - Communications Support with a Focus on Graphic & Web Design
Introduction
LegacyWorks Group is seeking proposals from qualified individuals or firms to provide communications support, with a primary emphasis on graphic design and occasional support on complex web design needs. We aim to strengthen the clarity, consistency, and visual impact of our communications to better engage stakeholders, partners, and the communities we serve.

Scope of Work
The selected consultant/firm will work in partnership with LegacyWorks Group to provide communications and design services that may include:
Graphic Design: Layout and design of reports, fact sheets, presentations, toolkits, and other materials
Visual Storytelling: Translate data, stories, and complex concepts into compelling visuals (infographics, diagrams, icons, maps)
Web Design Support: Provide occasional assistance with more complex website needs, such as custom page layouts, interactive elements, or troubleshooting issues that require HTML/CSS knowledge
Deliverables
Designed materials as requested (project-based)
Editable design files (InDesign, Illustrator, Canva, etc.)
Templates for ongoing staff use where appropriate
Web solutions and code snippets delivered in a format compatible with Squarespace
Qualifications
The ideal consultant/firm will have:
Demonstrated experience in graphic design and communications
A portfolio of work relevant to nonprofits, conservation, or mission-driven organizations
Strong ability to translate complex information into simple, engaging visuals.
Familiarity with accessible design practices
Experience with website design and basic coding (HTML/CSS required; familiarity with JavaScript or CMS customization is a plus)
Responsiveness and collaborative approach

References: At least two client references (preferably nonprofits or mission-driven organizations)

Final Selection: December 1, 2025
Project Start: January 5, 2025
